Toasted Walnut Smoothie Bowl

CALLING ALL WALNUT LOVERS, this toasted walnut smoothie bowl is a creamy, sweet, delicious breakfast treat that can be whipped up in just a couple minutes! The perfect refreshing and rehydrating healthy recipe that'll leave you feeling nourished and amazing! Packed with natural ingredients, this vegan and gluten free smoothie bowl is worth making!

Ingredients:

- 2.5 small frozen bananas

- 1/4 cup almond milk

- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder

- a splash of vanilla extract

- 1 tbsp almond butter

- a few ice cubes

- 1/8 cup toasted walnuts

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Once your oven is done preheating, place your walnuts on a small baking sheet and bake them for 8-10 minutes, or until you can smell them. Be careful as they burn super easily!

  3. Meanwhile add everything else to a blender and blend until smooth.

  4. Once the nuts are done toasting, let them cool for a minute or so, then place them on top of your smoothie bowl along with optional cacao nibs.

  5. Enjoy!!
