Churro flavored baked oats are warm, hearty, and make for the perfect breakfast or dessert! Naturally sweetened by maple syrup, and generously- fine maybe a little more than generously ;) dusted with organic cane sugar. It's also single-serve so it's like eating a churro cupcake, without having to share! These oats would also be incredible topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a splash of maple syrup, if you don't happen to have cane sugar on hand! Not to mention the amazing, fluffy texture makes this treat *chef's kiss.*
YIELD: 1 serving
TIME: 5 mins.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup applesauce
- 2 tbsp greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp vanilla protein powder
- A splash of water
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F/180C and spray an oven-safe ramekin with cooking spray.
Blend everything up until smooth, then pour the batter into said ramekin.
Top with a big dash of cinnamon, and bake for 25 mins.
Once done baking, remove from the oven and dust generously with organic cane sugar and extra cinnamon.
