Cozy Orange Cherry Waffles

These waffles are great for those quick on the go mornings when you still want a healthy yet tasty way to nourish your body! I promise they'll become your new favorite breakfast! Not to mention they'll make your house smell like heaven!



TIME: 30 mins.

Dry Ingredients:

- 2 cups whole wheat flour

- 4 tsp baking powder

- 1/4 tsp sea salt

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Wet Ingredients:

- 1 tsp orange zest

- 1/2 cup diced cherries (frozen or fresh)

- 1 tbsp maple syrup

- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

- 2 tbsp greek yogurt

- 1&3/4 cup almond milk or milk of choice

- 2 eggs

- 1 tbsp orange juice



  1. In a medium sized bowl add all your dry ingredients and mix until combined

  2. In a separate smaller bowl add all your wet ingredients and mix until combined

  3. Preheat your waffle maker

  4. Add your wet mixture to your dry ingredient bowl and mix everything all together one last time until well combined

  5. Pour about 1/3 cup of waffle batter onto the iron and close

  6. Every waffle iron is different so cook each side for roughly two minutes or until golden brown

  7. Enjoy!!
